In a parallel world, I would: be training as a professional gymnast and then travelling back regularly for competitions in the world we all live in now, because a parallel world sounds like an excellent place to practice parallel bars!
Instead, I am: burying myself in plants and pipette tips, helping coach the judo club and using conservation as my way of staying in touch with the Peak District. I’m also avoiding gymnastics completely (now seems a bit late to start parallel bars…also I can’t think of a way to get into a parallel world for me to practice).
Best thing about SUCV: getting outdoors and hanging out with like-minded conservationists - especially on our residential trips, which are fab!
